WITTE Automotive plans acquisition of Helbako Group

WITTE Automotive has successfully concluded the negotiations to acquire the HELBAKO Group, a specialist in electronic systems based in Heiligenhaus. The final signing of the agreement is planned for January, subject to regulatory approval.

This planned acquisition represents an important step in WITTE Automotive’s growth strategy. HELBAKO’s strong expertise in the development, industrialization, and production of electronic systems and control units will further strengthen WITTE existing portfolio and capabilities in vehicle electronics.

Both companies are already connected through many years of trusted collaboration and share a strong cultural fit as family-owned businesses. HELBAKO’s excellent reputation with leading OEMs and its locations in Germany and Romania make it a valuable addition to the WITTE Group.

With this step, WITTE Group is reinforcing its commitment to future-oriented technologies, long-term stability, and sustainable growth in the automotive industry.
